The goal of the Pedi-MIND Program is to advance what is known about the brain and behavior interactions mediating psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents.

To achieve this goal, we conduct research using cutting-edge technology, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), to identify how children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders differ from those without such illnesses.

The Pedi-MIND Program is led by Daniel Dickstein, MD, who is board certified in pediatrics, psychiatry, and child/adolescent psychiatry. Prior to his work at Bradley Hospital, Dickstein was a researcher at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), one of the more than 20 divisions of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
